After this event, our managers will know our processes and best practice so that you:

Spend the day at Acis Students at either The Trigon in Sheffield or Raleigh Park in Nottingham working with the on site maintenance team or the engagement and experience team or come along and see what happens on a student open day!

Spend the an hour in our Customer Service Centre listening and observing calls from our customers. 

It is advised you come to the CSC before doing an experience it with the Planning Team.


Spend the day out in our communities amongst our customers, this could include showing new customers perspective new homes, dealing with a wide variety of tenancy management matters and completing neighbourhood audits and H&S inspections.

This Management Essential looks at some of the decisions that influence our employer brand to enable you to:

    •  ensuring equity, diversity and inclusion
    • completing your part in right to work processes  
    • understanding how StrengthScope can direct more insightful questions to bring out the potential in your candidates

Have you ever found yourself describing a person as difficult or challenging when it's really the situation that you find difficult and challenging?

This module explores this so that by the end of the event you:

  • are confident to manage conduct and capability issues as soon as they arise
  • understand how to develop a performance improvement plan and enable people to achieve a successful outcome
  • conduct all disciplinary stages appropriately 
  • are aware of the records required for everyday management and investigations

Domestic Abuse Champion training for those interested in  knowing more about domestic abuse, how to spot the signs and where to report concerns.. It also includes training on how to complete a DASH assessment.

PASMA Towers for Users will equip you with the specialist knowledge you need to work safely with mobile access towers. 

Mobile access towers are straight up and down, single bay structures with four legs and wheels that can reach heights of 8m outdoors and 12m indoors.

  • Know the systems and processes for a great start 
  • How to create a productive relationship within the first 6 months and beyond
  • Manage the capabilities and integrate our new colleagues into The Acis Way

Health and safety is a core part of everything we all do. We rely on all of our people to play their part in implementing our health and safety policy and drawing to our attention, areas in which we can improve.

To that end, and to comply with health and safety legislation, we are all required to read the three documents that make up our health and safety policy every year.

Part of 'your part' is knowing our intentions to create a safe and healthy culture, who is responsible, and the arrangements we have in place.

This 15 minute course has been developed by the British Heart Foundation to allow people to learn vital life-saving skills.

All you need is a mobile phone or tablet and a cushion to practice on!

This course is designed for use on a mobile phone or tablet - you'll be provided a QR code if you start on a laptop.

This training course will highlight when certain items of PPE should be inspected and what common faults should be identified and recorded. 

After the course, you'll identify critical damage to various items of PPE and understand how to accurately record the findings and dispose of faulty PPE.

Certification period 3 years

Audience: some managers, supervisors and charge hands

At the end of this course you will be familiar with the use of cable avoidance equipment and principles.

The course is for our tradespeople and supervisors.

This is a classroom course that lasts half a day.
