Health and safety is a core part of everything we all do. We rely on all of our people to play their part in implementing our health and safety policy and drawing to our attention, areas in which we can improve.

To that end, and to comply with health and safety legislation, we are all required to read the three documents that make up our health and safety policy every year.

Part of 'your part' is knowing our intentions to create a safe and healthy culture, who is responsible, and the arrangements we have in place.

Please allow approx. 10-15 minutes to read this information.

If you would also like a printed copy of the documents, just download and print or ask a colleague / your manager to do this.

Please use this form to report health and safety occurrences so that we can keep improving the H&S  processes and environments that you work in.

Remember:

  • Near miss: an event not causing harm but has the potential to cause injury or ill health.
  • Incident: something that has happened in the workplace unexpectedly, which hasn’t caused any personal injury, but may or may not have caused damage, and that warrants reporting
  • Accident: something unexpected that has happened in the workplace which has caused personal injury, death or ill-health of an employee or member of the public, or damage to property.

At the end of this training, you will understand the risk associated with working on houses with gas and other fossil fuels.
